In the Spring of 2019 I worked on the screens content for the Jennifer Lopez It’s My Party tour. With the direction of Noah Witchell and It Factor Productions, I was responsible mainly for putting together the “Dinero” curved bank vault scene, the hall of mirrors scene for “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” and the framed chains scene for the Funk Medley break.
- Full scene builds
- Lighting
- Texturing
- Animation and Light Chases
I made the screens content for JLO’s 2021 Global Citizens Live performance of “Cambia El Paso”. Flashing neon light chases, giant speaker in the sky, and a scrolling city illuminated by neon.
I’ve been working on the screens content for FOX’s Masked Singer since season 5 (Season 8 is currently airing) as well as Masked Dancer. Our team creates the graphics for the background LED screen, floor LED screen and side stage mask projections, as well as occasional content for the clues packages.
My responsibilities are different for each song but include…
- Full set builds
- 3D Modelling (Mostly kitbashing)
- Texturing
- Animation
- Lighting
- Light Chase Animation
- Render Pass Setup
Some seasons incorporated an AR screen extension which introduced some interesting composition challenges, along with the quick turnaround time required.
A messy fever dream of a music video for the NYC based band Lolita. Experiments in temporal distortion, synthesis tracking, and GAN interpolation, along with more traditional (if we can call it that) 3d animation storytelling with a glitched 3D scanned friend.
Tools used:
Blender
After Effects
EbSynth
GanBreeder + GANtools
I was commissioned by Doctor Jeep to make a video for his song ‘Snake Eyes.’ I had a lot of creative freedom and got to explore glitching video in Audactiy, using EbSynth for style transfer and motion vectors. 3D renders were made in Blender 2.8 with the Eevee render engine, then edited in After Effects.
I worked with Charles Kay Jr to bring his vision for this installation to life at KANEKO in Omaha, Nebraska. Using two projectors, we filled the room with light and motion from his photography.
I used MadMapper for the projection mapping which allowed great attention to detail, and control to manage the scale and correct the perspective on the wide throw range.

(Thanks to Charles for letting me use his photography for my portfolio)
🔊🔊🔊 SOUND ON 🔊🔊🔊
I made an unofficial music video for an excerpt of my friend Doctor Jeep's track "Press F."

Gunn x David Carney x Artificial Intelligence collab.
Video was created leveraging Generative Adversarial Networks, (both BigGAN-512 and BigGAN-Deep-512), edited in After Effects, then upscaled using Waifu2x (a Deep Convolutional Neural Network.) This is all fancy talk for "I figured out how to get these programs to work on my computer." Gunn wrote the killer music track.
Using and Xbox Kinect, I use both realtime and precomputed methods to create 3D shapes. I find the artifacts and distortions generated from moving surfaces really pleasant.
I was commissioned by This Is to create a visuals for their techno warehouse show featuring Drumcell. Using realtime raymarching, I created a constantly evolving set of fractals to project on the 80 foot screen and cut together a promo video for them.
Nathan Kuester handled the projectors and hardware.
Transforming photographs with 3D displacement and mixing it back with the source.
January 2018 - Present
I’ve joined Brian Cole (Robotblood) to create and perform visuals for a monthly dance party at Reverb Lounge.
The live show is crafted in Unity, and put together live. All graphics are realtime and controlled live via midi controllers, xbox controllers, and are audio reactive.
Credit to Keijiro Takahashi for the framework I’ve built these shows around.
